At the end of our day's safari, just as we were about to have our sundowner, an African wild dog appeared nearby, followed by another one, and another! This was a first sighting for me, so without a second thought, abandoned the sundowner and followed the dogs. The first three were joined by seven others. They stopped for a drink of water then sped off towards the trees. They moved fast and we followed as best we could. The squealing noises and the smell helped our guide locate the pack, which was feeding on a recently killed impala.
